What up, guys.

We hope you enjoyed that run of video blog posts we did in Macau. Unfortunately, from there on, it was all business, so we didn't have time to do more videos. We'd have loved to, simply because Hong Kong is so awesome. We're not talking about the ladies here, mind you (although they did play a big part ). The place itself is A-mazing. The people there are friendly, the shopping is great, and the view is breathtaking.

The good thing is, we have a backlog of videos that we'll be releasing in time to come. Some of them will be made private, in order to protect certain individuals. But most of them will be available to the public, as thanks for your support.

Our updates may be hitting you on a weekly basis, but we feel that it is simply not enough. Personally, I've come to learn quite a number of lessons in the past few months, and I want to share them with you guys; however, time is a factor. We have been working behind the scenes since we got back from our trip, and if you haven't noticed, we're going corporate in terms of training. Feel free to contact us if you feel like your company needs help. Just click on the 'Corporate Training' link above.

Having said that, today's post is Awareness-based. I figured this is a lesson any hustler-wannabe MUST know. And unfortunately for most of us, we lack a key figure in our lives who really gives us the lowdown on living an Awesome life.

This is something I had to learn myself as well. Sometimes I wish that I had a mentor earlier on in life who did not hold back on all the hardcore lessons, because it will only benefit eventually. One of them is Believing in Yourself. It may sound really simple and over-stated, but the truth is, people often hear this but never listen. Believing in Yourself is not about having a healthy amount of self-esteem. They are related, yes, but not the same.

It's about understanding that no matter where you are in your life, what you want for yourself is entirely valid, and that no one can take that away from you.

It's about knowing that, despite all your flaws and imperfections, you are who you are, and there is nothing wrong with that.

It's about believing that your opinions count for something, and that people should respect them, regardless of whether they agree with it or not.

I remember a few years back, I was having a discussion about the kind of girl I wanted in my life with someone in my extended family. Unfortunately, she and I couldn't agree that I “deserve” the type of girl I wanted. Fortunately for me, I was unfazed by what my relative thought of me. But at that moment, I thought about how someone with a weaker self-belief would react, and I could imagine it would have made that person doubt himself.

Anyone and everyone can doubt you, but you must NEVER doubt yourself.

Truth is, you're always gonna have doubters. I've had many in my life, and they've made me feel bad. I know how it feels to be shaken. But I've come to learn that my beliefs are valid, and that's all that matters. Whether you believe in yourself is what counts. If you don't, you're gonna be shaky everytime someone challenges you. How can you expect to live your life the way you want if you are shaken so easily?

Look, I'm not saying it's not normal to doubt yourself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People encounter self-doubt because they have a self-image of where they stand, and when they look to the external environment for evidence to validate that image, the image and evidence don't agree with each other.

In my opinion, self-doubt is good, because it gives you the opportunity to take a step back, self-reflect, and see the cause of it. Unfortunately, you are never gonna be able to run away from self-doubt completely. The people at the top suffer from it as well, so don't expect to eliminate it forever. What you need to know is that it is not an actual indication of your own abilities.

Here at Success Initiative, we believe that whatever you believe, you are right. Therefore, if you believe that you are not worth your value, you are right. Conversely, the same applies.

Unfortunately, there is no shortcut to success. Therefore, you will need to work for it. If you think your abilities are not up to scratch, then you'll need to up the ante and hustle. Results don't lie. They are the most tangible evidence you'll get. But in my experience, self-doubt has more to do with self-image than ability.

If that is the case, then go for the big E, that is, Experience. Lessons are best learnt through revelations, and you can only get that through experience. Forget about abilities, forget about self-beliefs, forget about achieving results. Go for the experience, and the realisation will naturally happen. It may take a while, but when it happens, the realisation will be heart-felt. And anything that's heart-felt will never be forgotten.

At the end of the day, I sincerely feel that Believing in Yourself is the first step towards success. If you don't have that basic self-belief, your actions will forever work to your disadvantage. You may have the perfect gameplan, the perfect strategy, or the perfect solution, but without that confidence in your own self, you'll subconsciously sabotage your own efforts. People always blame circumstance for their failures, but what they fail to recognise is that the root cause lies in their own belief system, rather than external factors.

Believing in Yourself. is a post from: Success-Initiative.com

The Maverick Hustler team decided that we needed to get out of our comfort zone and explore something alternative, while we were on our adventure trip to Macau, Hong Kong and China. We did some searching online and found an interesting place that has been known to be the location for Hong Kong film producing. It wasn't as bad as we thought. But you definitely wanna stay tuned for the next video on our 'supernatural' walk.

What up, guys. The past few weeks have seen a lot of happenings within the SI crew. We've been getting out there learning new things, embarking on new projects, re-focusing ourselves for the sprint in the second half of the year, and living it up.

Within all these contain great lessons. As a self-improvement company, we've always gone by the philosophy of walking the talk. Anything less is simply betraying ourselves and our clients. Believe me when I say that we put ourselves out there and hustle our asses off. Laveen and I have been stepping up as we prepare to take on more responsibilities to learn more about negotiation, hustling and becoming more awesome than ever.

Needless to say, we refuse to not have fun while we are at it. If we have to do something, why not do it with a smile? If you have to whine and be resistant to what you are doing, then you should save your time and effort and just NOT do it. I am not discouraging you here, but really, your efforts are going to be half-assed, and your results are going to be exactly the same. You'd be better off sleeping; at least you rest your body. And that's a lesson on its own right there. I'mma dish out a few more in this post and give a jolt of reality to those who really need it.

You can be anyone you want to be.

The truth is, we are not bound by anything. If you have a business idea, and you need a capital of $30,000, and your bank has only $100, you are right to believe that you are restricted. But nothing's stopping you from getting out there to make that $30,000 to get to your dream. It is NOT EASY, but it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE. Your willingness to get out of your comfort zone and dare to achieve what you want is the only thing that stops you.

And a lot of it boils down to self belief. Success Initiative is fortunate to have dating coach Xavier as our head coach, because the crew has learnt quite a few lessons while working with him. And the most difficult thing about getting good at dating is believing that you deserve the women you want to date.

Life is not fair or unfair.

If you blame the world for your circumstances, then you are probably so self-centered you forgot what it's like to see the world for what it is. The world is not fair or unfair. The world has no judgements. The world was here first, but it did not create our thoughts about the world. Our thoughts of what is good or bad, right or wrong, is purely based on our own mental perceptions.

If you blame the world for what is wrong in your life, then you obviously need to get out of your head and see beyond your own self-perceived problems. The world does not revolve around you. If you are gone tomorrow, the world wouldn't care. It moves as it should. Like every other normal day.

Success is inevitable.

You would have heard this one many times. Well, you know what, it is true. If you try hard and long enough, you will eventually get there. I am sure you have heard countless times from a motivational speaker or some successful person, who mentioned that people tend to give up just as success was around the corner.

That is true, but what they failed to mention was that, there is no such thing as failure. There is only such a thing as delayed success. Success will come to you if you keep plucking away, but how many people are actually willing to stay on the running track and keep at it? Are you willing to slog away for 20 years if it will bring you to your dreams, if you are guaranteed the freedom you've always wanted?

Giving up means you are a loser.

Unfortunately, and I am sure a lot of motivational speakers will disagree with me, this is simply not true. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving up. You have all the right in the world to do what you want. No one's opinions will matter to you more than your own. And if you can live with giving up, then I say go ahead and do it.

But the truth is, most people never give up entirely. The concept of giving up means you become completely hootless about whatever you chose to give up. Which means that, it will NO LONGER affect you in any way, emotionally or mentally. If you find yourself being apathetic, that means you haven't given up.

This is where you'll need to understand the difference between being really care-less, and being apathetic. Being care-less means it doesn't affect your thoughts anymore. You have completely accepted that you are not going to get what you want, and you simply don't care if you get or do not get what you want.

On the other hand, being apathetic means you still care, but you act like you don't. In fact, you feel despair when you think about you not acccomplishing your dreams. You get all "emo" and start thinking 'fuck this', but your thoughts still revolve around your goals and desires.

Therefore, if you really wanna give up, do it. But don't be half-assed and get stuck in apathy. That's never giving up.

Life is wonderful. Love it.

I cannot emphasise on this enough. Life is truly wonderful. Despite all the self-perceived horrible things that has happened to you, you are still standing, still breathing, still loving, still fighting for what you want. Celebrate your life. The human spirit is truly remarkable. We have accomplished so many feats, so many things that defy human limitations, and we keep pushing the limits.

So, love life, and be grateful everyday. Give a lil prayer of thanks to the Universe everyday, and allow all the good things to happen to you. Be patient, and love. You are a work of art in your own right.

Dear Journal,

After reading a series of inspiring blogs and journals of my awesome Alumni brothers, I have decided to resurrect my journal-writing. I logged in to the Singapore Seduction Lair and read all 8 pages of my journal once again. It certainly brought back many memories. Back in 2007, if someone told me, "Xav, one day, you will be an internationally-renowned dating coach and you will kick serious ass while you are at it.", I would have asked him to hook me up with his drug dealer as well. 19th October 2007 was a turning point in my life. It was the day that I, as a heart-broken, unmotivated young man, wrote my first journal entry and told the world for the first time that I would improve the quality of his life. 4 years on, it is still the most widely read journal in the history of our local community. Since 2009, I have moved my writing over to this site but that journal will always hold a dear place in my heart.

Today, I have decided to continue sharing my personal journal thoughts once again, this time on my site.

Loving Life

Dear Journal,

Fun times applying my Ninja evesdropping skills during PI

After another successful Private Instruction program this weekend, I gave myself the day off.

It surprises me that the first thing I did after a man-sized portion of meat for lunch was to log on to my site and write. I kinda expected myself to go out on a date or go free-running instead but I just felt a strong urge to write. I guess I really enjoy writing more than I thought I did.

I think it is very important to go back to your roots every once in a while; to take some time to study the path that you have taken in life. A lot of what I have done in life has been a result of that very journal entry that I wrote on 19th October 2007. My success in entrepreneurship, lifestyle goals and coaching have all been enhanced to great proportions because of that choice I made to give myself a better life.

On this very meaningful day, I decided to stop and appreciate the things I have done in my life the past few weeks.

Xinhua News Agency (Beijing) Story, my first media appearance in China!

Glen and Me crashing a wedding before Butter Factory 5th Anniversary party haha

Breakfast by the pool, celebrating a very successful first Quarter of 2011

Getting robbed and almost mauled by Monkeys in Bali

I think it is utterly important to strike a balance in life. You can make all the money in the world, you can be the most famous or well-connected person on the planet, but if you have nothing meaningful to spend your resources and hard-earned rewards on, life is never going to be fulfilling for you. I always believe that most people want a millionaire lifestyle more than they want a million dollars. They want to be able to have the freedom to live their lives, to be in a position negotiate obstacles in life that will challenge them to be better people and ultimately, get a sense of enjoyment at the end of it all. Sadly, every day that I live on this earth, I see so much more clearly that this is not the life that many people get to enjoy. This realization only serves as encouragement to me to work harder to bring this perspective across to people. I am privileged to have a dedicated team of people behind me on this goal, my Success-Initiative team.

This week is going to be another hectic one yet again but I think the following week is going to be an awesome one. After this weekend, I will be taking my entire Success Initiative team on a 4D3N trip to Penang for hardcore rest & relaxation. I am looking forward to a well-deserved rest for my team and I to invigorate ourselves as we move towards achieving a successful 3rd quarter for the year.

I still can't get over how things lead to where they are today. I don't know for sure what's coming up but boy, I am rubbing my hands in glee

What up Hustlers!

It's been a wacky, eye-opening month for the Success Initiative team. We formed many new alliances, kicked up a Public Relations storm and brought success to so many people and businesses ever since we have been on the front lines of our respective investments and projects. We went through many experiences which were nothing short of enriching and enjoyable (profitable haha...) for all of us. Here is the complete lowdown of what we have been up to when we were successful in keeping ourselves away from the clubs...

EntourageLifestyle.com

On 15th April 2011, we launched our latest project, Entourage Lifestyle, to great fanfare :

Entourage Lifestyle : Delivering Quality Living To YOU

One of the highlights of the night would definitely be :

Ladies chasing our Limousine on their cab

WHATEVER lifestyle dreams you have... be it a dream party, up in the skies in a private jet, out in the sea with a private yacht, cruising around town in a limousine or a Hummer and partying it up V-VIP at top clubs in Singapore and KL... and I swear I am not kidding, a holiday with you and your favorite people in the world on a PRIVATE ISLAND... Look no further than Entourage Lifestyle for your high life experiences

Loving The Chase.

Our resident tech-wizard Jiron Tan has really outdone himself this time with his latest project. Jiron has taken the past few months to hustle his ass off, learning many new things and gaining heightened clarity in his talents, skills and direction in life. Eliminating the clutter and bad habits he developed, he really focused hard on achieving success on a whole new level. And if his latest project is anything to go by, I think his efforts paid off big time!

He is now the author of LovingTheChase.com, a blog dedicated to his passion of writing and sharing what he knows with the World. Apart from some insightful, life-changing articles and stories he will be churning out, he will also be giving you guys an inside glimpse of what being a part of Success Initiative is like. Knowing how humble he is, he will certainly not deny that he took a longer time than most to figure certain things out. Hmm, I'm actually thinking that I should use him to kick-start my audio interview series on people who overcame adversity and moved on to living a life of excellence...

Be sure to check out the site and subscribe to him!

The Maverick Hustler Success Formula

If only my teachers back in school could see all this right now... I don't think any of them would believe that I was capable of writing a book. Rightfully so though. The only thing I loved about books back in school was that I could doodle on them and draw mustaches on anything with a face.

I am in the final editing stages of my inaugural e-Book, The Maverick Hustler Success Formula. I've re-read it a couple of times and I think it's a great resource for anyone who's looking to begin taking themselves seriously and really committing towards living a life of excellence. While I have had a few interested parties who are already enquiring (and even an offer to edit and publish...), I wrote this book with my heart. This book was something that I was strongly compelled to write and distribute widely at ZERO COST. Yes, I spent a lot of time and to be completely honest, there is a lot of valuable information inside that would make me a few hundred dollars at least, but I stand firm in my decision : This e-book is a gift to the world, which has been amazingly kind to me.

The release date for this e-book should be some time before our Maverick Hustler Adventure : Penang in late May. Do stay tuned for the release to getcha hands on a copy. I hope that it will change your life for the better. I hope it will inspire you to make a call to action. Hell, it might even upset you. You might even hate the book so much and think, "Jeez, if I can do so much better than him!" and end up challenging yourself to do better than me. At the end of the day, if the quality of your life has improved even a little, I will be thoroughly pleased.

The Inaugural Maverick Hustler Program

MAVERICK HUSTLER PROGRAM

The Maverick Hustler program has seen a small group of 11 beta-testers. I am immensely proud and happy to announce that the FIRST EVER Maverick Hustler program will be coming your way on the last weekend of May (27-29th May 2011).

Instead of it's usual price of SGD$699, I will be conducting this 3-day life-changing program for a very special introductory price of SGD$199. Maybe I am borderline insane. It really makes no business sense, since it is already well established that my rate is $150 per hour per head. But Success Initiative is more than a company. We are a movement. I am not here to make wild-profits from SI, my other businesses and investments more than take care of that. Success Initiative is dedicated towards making a positive difference in people's lives. The truth is, people TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED. There is no argument here, everybody does. I know I sure as hell do. This is why there needs to be an investment. No one is ever going to take anything seriously if there were no consequences to guard against. People are only motivated to act when it's too late. If it rains on an evening I was supposed to attend a FREE motivational program, I would rather stay at home and sleep. But if I put a $50 investment in it already, well then you bet your ass I'm gonna be there even if Justin Bieber was the speaker... there, I said it...

I will be taking part in this program as well so this pioneer batch is in for a big, big treat.

Alright folks, tune in again next week for my upcoming article on "Living Life To The Fullest Is Living On The Edge". Until then...

HUSTLE ON!

Hey Guys,

I was having a conversation with a long-time friend of mine, Shen, whom I've known since I was 8 years old. Some of the best memories we had together were times where we used to catch spiders and put them into the school bags of girls in our class. We were always blessed with the uncanny ability to avoid being caught. Conventional thinking would classify this behavior as something worthy of 3 strokes of the cane. In my world, such a skill is an asset Our conversation then progressed on towards our present working lives. This was when things began to turn... ugly.

This part of the conversation turned out to be some pretty horrible stuff to hear. Here I was, speaking to Shen, whom back in the glory days, was all about doing whatever the hell he wanted, getting away with it... living excitably and happily in the process. He was always the one who told me that "All that matters is we are happy!" I took his advice and made good with my life... so I expected so much more from him. Now I found him working as a tele-marketer, earning about $1,900... in a good month. This was when I decided to knock some sense into him. I would like to share a perspective in life which I advocate with burning passion.

I hope that this post will serve to help you see the universe from another amazing angle.

Being Realistic is also Being RIDICULOUS

I say this with good reason.

Let's use the SIMPLEST of logic to put things in perspective.

Let's talk about Saturation for a start.

to cause (a substance) to unite with the greatest possible amount of another substance, through solution, chemical combination, or the like.

To quote a real-world example, I'll use bubble tea. The Bubble Tea market is largely saturated. If you are not :

1) Excellent (Koi Bubble-Tea, with it's extensive and customizable Menu, high quality standards and rave reviews)

2) Unique (Gong Cha, which is a niche brand of Bubble Tea that has a loyal audience)

3) The Most Accessible (Sweet Talk, which is very affordable and readily available)

If you are neither of these 3, then you are in deep trouble. If you choose to be a bottom-middle feeder, you will be left to play the chasing game, which is a tiring and draining process which brings upon FAILURE as soon as you decide to not chase. You know this to be true simply by taking a look at the bubble-tea stores that come and go.

Saturation is a LAW of the universe, this much is clear so far.

Being Realistic...

Why Work So Hard To Be ANOTHER Face In The Crowd?

Now here's the thing about being realistic and chasing mediocrity : IT IS A SATURATED IDEA!

Let's use our brain and powers of logic for a moment. Everyone out there is holding onto the same friggin' degree as the next person. The next thing that your future employer will look out for is going to be : What makes you different from everyone else?!

"Blimey!" you say. All this time, your effort was spent working towards becoming just like everyone else! This is why hands-on training is the most valuable part of a learning process. It allows you to see how you can contribute in the most outstanding way known to you.

It is far easier to be chasing something unrealistic than to be chasing something realistic. The fishing is better where fewer people fish. YOU are your greatest asset because YOU have within you unique qualities, abilities and talents to go further in your unique direction than anyone else out there!

This belief lead me to become who I am today, a Man who lives freely doing the very things that he wants to do... at any time he pleases. I have always loved meeting and being around people, so I took that interest and ran with it. I UNREALISTICALLY sought to become an expert (BY EXPERIENCE) on this passion of mine which fascinated me to no end. 2 years on and not only do I hold the most impressive track-record among dating coaches in my region, I personally believe I am unbeatable in my field. My talent and ability has allowed for me to travel the world doing what I loved and was good at. It is an amazing feeling... a dream come true.

One year ago, I found something else that excited me. I wanted to promote the idea of LIVING A LIFE OF EXCELLENCE. I wanted to bring forward the idea that we do not live to exist, but we exist to live. That was when I established Success Initiative and created The Maverick Hustler Movement, to show people how to live a life they have always dreamed of in that unique and effective way that only I know.

Today, I find myself financially capable of leading the amazingly exciting and fulfilling life of my dreams. I got here by doing 3 things :

1) Knowing what I wanted to do.

2) Believing in my talents and abilities. (so important! Whatever you believe, you are RIGHT.)

3) Taking action and aiming to be the very best at doing what I wanted to do.

The truth is, most people don't even have #1 and #2 figured out. I know this from 3 years of experience in orchestrating amazing turnarounds in life. This is why I wrote my first ever e-book, The Maverick Hustler Success Formula, a guide on how to not only accomplish #1 and #2, but living a life of success WITH STYLE! The e-book is in the final stages of editing and it's going to be available on the site real soon. I cannot wait for it to be released!

Alright folks, we'll be checking in with you guys again real soon with a very interesting story from Laveen and how he manages to get into clubs for free haha. Until next time...
